Just like most people, by the time dinner rolls around we are tired, hungry and don’t want to spend over an hour in the kitchen.
A majority of America goes out for dinner and gets take out a handful of nights a week. While that is definitely convenient, it should be practiced in moderation. Not only can you save so much money, but it is also better for your body to fuel it with home cooked food.
Today I am sharing 10 Healthful Dinners Ready in Less than 30 minutes. These recipes are from around the web from some of my fellow blogsquad. They are all meat free (fish is on the menu don’t worry) and won’t take hours of your time to prepare.
This round up was inspired when I recently tried Bumble Bee SuperFresh®. Bumble Bee SuperFresh® is a line of naturally-seasoned, restaurant quality, “fish-forward” prepared seafood meals for home. They are providing us with quality fish that seafood lovers can enjoy and their products aren’t covered in heavy sauces or breading either. They’re very simple and such a convenient go-to to stash in the freezer.
Their Seared Ahi Tuna with Garlic-Peppercorn Rub is my absolute favorite. It’s seasoned with just a few ingredients and it’s already thinly sliced for us. It is so delicious on top of a salad, as a light snack with wasabi and soy sauce or in a grain bowl as you will see below. I haven’t seen another sushi quality frozen Seared Ahi Tuna like this and I am pretty particular about my frozen fish.
I paired my Bumble Bee SuperFresh® Seared Ahi Tuna with a brown rice and quinoa mixture, fresh arugula, lemon and extra virgin olive oil for a light dinner. I personally love the taste of Ahi Tuna alone so I didn’t want to overpower it with any sauces or favorings.
All I had to do was let the Bumble Bee SuperFresh® Seared Ahi Tuna thaw out in the fridge for 3 hours before cooking, plate & serve. It was that easy!

10 Healthful Dinners Ready in Less than 30 minutes
- 1 package of Bumble Bee SuperFresh® Seared Ahi Tuna, thawed out
- 1 cup of cooked rice (I used brown)
- 2 cups of arugula
- Fresh lemon
- Drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
- Assemble rice, tuna and arugula in two bowls
- Add fresh lemon and olive oil and enjoy
- You can also add any other veggies or dressings you'd like
