Summer is hands down my favorite season ever. I basically hibernate in the wintertime, so being able to actually go outside with no jacket on, gloves and big chunky boots, is heavenly to me. If apple season was in summer, I would literally have everything I love in one season.

I am also a firm believer that there is seriously no better place to live than NYC during the summer (at least in my opinion). And this is coming from someone who would give their left arm to move to SoCal, but NYC is magical and has an extra special vibe to it after MDW. Plus we are so close to the Hamptons for weekend getaways.

I was fortunate enough to have a house out in Montauk for the month of June and it has been amazing. In case you aren’t sure where Montauk is, it is a little further east than the Hamptons AKA it is a shlep to get out there (over 3 hours each way if you are lucky). But once you are sitting on the beach having a lobster roll and rosè, it is well worth the trip. Plus there is a ton of people from the city who go out there (restaurants and fitness studios included) so it is the ultimate weekend spot from Manhattan.

I am also obsessed with summer food (shocker). The berries are amazing and so juicy, I can eat ice cream without my fingers getting numb AND it is prime time grill time for barbecues.

Grilled veggies, fish, salads, chips and dip and s’mores are seriously my ultimate dream BBQ line up. Obviously with a little tequila on the side.

That is why today I have teamed up with my blog squad to bring you guys 5 Healthy Summer Barbecue Recipes for any palette.  I am sharing my 5-ingredient Salmon Burgers from a couple of weeks ago because they seriously are the ultimate non-meat eater’s fish burger. Plus for all my readers who live in an apartment sans grill, you want something you can bake in the oven too for when a grill just isn’t an option. You can make them ahead so if you have any pain in the tush non-meat eaters coming over, this is a perfect go-to dish. I actually want to eat every dish in this blog post ASAP.
