    Almond Joy Overnight Oats

A breakfast twist on one of your favorite candies, Almond Joy’salmondjoyovernightoats

I have to say I am not 100% obsessed with Almond Joy’s. They were in the pile of candy bars I would give to my Dad when I was younger after trick-or-treating on Halloween. I didn’t like the combination of almonds, chocolate & coconut (um, I know what you are thinking…)

Fast forward 15 or so years and here I am, loving/obsessing/drooling over anything involving the combination of dark chocolate, almonds and coconut.

Now I would like to introduce you to what may be the CREAMIEST almond butter in all the land, Barney Butter. It even LOOKS like peanut butter!

Seriously, look at this almond butter porn..

A couple years ago when I started to eat almond butter, I used to complain that it was too grainy and I missed smooth creamy consistency of peanut butter. I wasn’t able to eat it out of the jar like I was used to with peanut butter and was so confused by how almond butter just didn’t have the creamy texture I loved about peanut butter.

Usually when someone doesn’t like almond butter it’s because of the consistency and the grainy texture it has. Barney Butter is seriously unlike any other almond butter. It is creamy and smooth and spoon-worthy.

Barney Butter has several different products you can find on their website but I’m here to chat about their Bare Smooth Almond Butter. There is NO added sugar or salt. It is creamy and rich and so delicious to eat by the spoon, on top of toast, with fruit and most importantly in my OATS.

To top it off for all my peanut allergy friends – Barney Butter is the only prominent almond butter out there that’s made in a 100% peanut free facility. They also use blanched almonds, which is great for people with digestive issues like IBS, and also is what makes their almond butter SO creamy!

I made you Almond Joy Overnight Oats using Barney Butter’s Bare Smooth Almond Butter and I think you will absolutely love this bowl of oats. The combined flavors of almond butter, coconut, chocolate in my overnight oats have got my taste buds going CRAZAY.
