This Tangerine Sorbet is made with just 1 ingredient and it is incredibly easy to whip up in your food processor and enjoy as a healthy snack.

  • Prep Time: 5 hours
  • Total Time: 5 hours

Yield: Serves 2-3

Ingredients

  • Seedless tangerine segments (I freeze about 8-10 at a time)
  • Optional: maple syrup, coconut sugar or honey to sweeten

Instructions

  1. Add tangerine segments to a small baking sheet and add to freezer to set for at least for at least a few hours but preferably overnight
  2. Remove segments from freezer and add to food processor
  3. Begin to pulse for a few minutes to break up and blend. The texture will be dry at first but keep blending and it will continue to get creamier as you blend and scrape down the sides
  4. Once cream scoop out into bowl of choice to serve and add any toppings if desired! I love having dark chocolate or coconut flakes on top

Notes

*Store leftovers in freezer and thaw out for about 10 minutes or until softened before serving
