This Chocolate Sea Salt Granola Recipe is a must make for any granola lovers! Such a healthier granola recipe to try using all gluten-free and vegan ingredients. Lower in sugar and so simple and easy to make.

Yield: 3 cups 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups gluten-free rolled oats 
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts, almonds, cashews, pecans, walnuts
  • 1/3 cup ground flaxseeds
  • 1/4 cup cacao nibs
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • Dark chocolate chips, or desired amount

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. In a medium size bowl, mix together the oats, nuts, flaxseeds and cacao nibs
  3. Pour in the oil maple syrup, vanilla and sea salt and evenly mix together
  4. Spread across baking sheet and press down on granola (so you get those chunks!)
  5. Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes, rotating the sheet pan once or twice
  6. Remove from oven and allow the granola to cool for a bit then sprinkle chocolate chips and sit for at least 30 minutes so the granola cools and crisps up

Notes

*Store in fridge for up to 3 weeks! Fridge makes it extra crunchy
