This Honey Garlic Chicken is so easy to make and a family favorite! It is a simple gluten-free weeknight dinner recipe that the whole family will love and you can pair it with your favorite sides.

Ingredients

Crispy chicken:

  • 1 lb chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch squares
  • 5 tablespoons almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs

Honey garlic sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 5 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon coconut aminos
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and add a oven-safe cooling rack to a baking sheet 
  2. Add the chicken to a large ziplock bag and toss with flour and spices
  3. Then dip a piece of chicken into the egg followed by the breadcrumbs and add to baking sheet and repeat for remaining chicken
  4. Cook in oven for about 15 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked (should be 165 degrees F or when it cut it open there will be no pink!)
  5. While chicken cooks, whisk together the honey garlic sauce ingredients then toss chicken in a large bowl with sauce and serve warm with desired sides

Notes

*Store leftovers in fridge for 5 days and reheat in oven, skillet or microwave
