Sharing our easy 10-minute Wonton Soup! Using the cilantro chicken wontons from Trader Joe’s – this soup comes together so quick and easy!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups chicken broth (or use veggie or beef)
  • 2 pieces of peeled ginger, about 1/4 inch thick
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 stems of scallions, cut into 2 inch pieces or so (the white part)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut aminos
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 package of wontons! (we used the Trader Joe’s Cilantro Chicken ones)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the broth, ginger, garlic and scallions, coconut aminos and oil and bring to a boil
  2. Add in wontons then cook over medium/low heat or until wontons are fully cooked. It took us about 8 minutes or so!
  3. Serve while warm with desired toppings. We added the green part of the scallions as well as some crunchy wontons!
