This EASY Baked Feta Appetizer is a must try next time you want to whip up something flavorful, quick and are craving some with Mediterranean flare.

Yield: Serves 4

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces block feta (in brine – not crumbled!)
  • 1/2 cup pitted olives (mix of green olives and Kalamata olives)
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • Olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • Crackers, crostini, baguettes for dipping

Instructions

  1. Add feta to a small greased baking dish or greased rimmed sheet pan
  2. Make sure the olives, garlic and sun-dried tomatoes are finely chopped then add onto the feta and press down and generously drizzle olive oil on top and spices
  3. Bake in oven for 20 minutes and broil for 1 minute or so then serve with desired crackers, pita chips or bread!

Notes

*Store leftovers in fridge for 5 days

**Feel free to double or triple recipe to serve larger group
