The juiciest healthy Avocado Chicken Burgers made with all paleo and whole30 ingredients. An easy and delicious chicken burger made on the stovetop (no grill needed) and paired with crispy sweet potato fries and topped with anything you are craving.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb organic ground chicken (I like a mix of light/dark meat)
  • Large ripe avocado, cut into chunks
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 cup sweet onion, chopped
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • Avocado oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground chicken, avocado, onion, garlic and salt and pepper and mix well
  2. Heat a large skillet with some avocado oil and warm on medium-high heat
  3. Form into 4 patties and then add to skillet and cook on medium heat (I covered with a lid) and cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping 1/2 way through
  4. Remove from heat and serve on a bun or in a bowl of choice. I served mine with crispy sweet potato fries, leafy greens, pesto, avocado and veggies!

Notes

*Store leftovers in airtight container in fridge for 5 days or freezer for longer
