How to Make Garlic Confit with 2 Ingredients

Here is how to make your own Garlic Confit at home. One of our favorite recipes to keep in the kitchen at all times as a dressing, dip for bread, marinade and more.

  1. Peel your garlic cloves (we shook ours in a jar!)
  2. Add the garlic cloves to a sauce pan and cover in the oil (add more if needed – the garlic should be fully covered)
  3. Bring to a simmer and stir, making sure the garlic doesn’t stick to the pan
  4. Cook on the lowest heat for about 30 minutes, stirring every few minutes
  5. Remove from heat and pour into a glass jar or something you can seal this with
  6. All the garlic confit to cool then store in the fridge for up to 1 month
