These Immunity Boosting Green Juice Shots are made in your blender and no juicer is needed! Packed with vitamins, nutrients, antioxidants and are our go-to for an extra boost.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch fresh parsley (stems removed)
  • 6 stalks celery, chopped into 3-inch pieces
  • 1 large english cucumber, skin on
  • 2 Granny Smith apples, sliced so core and stem are removed (skin on)
  • 12 tablespoons Manuka honey, to taste
  • 3/4 cup – 1 cup filtered water
  • 2 large lemons

Instructions

  1. In a large high-speed blender, add the parsley, celery, cucumber, apples and water
  2. Blend on high speed for about 1 minute or until smooth (no more chunks). Add more water as needed if too thick and use a wooden spoon to gently break down the veggies/fruit a bit more if needed
  3. Next strain the juice. Layer a mesh strainer over a large bowl and a cheese cloth and slowly pour the juice into the cheese cloth so all the juice is in the bowl and only pulp remains in the bag
  4. Then bring up the sides of the cheese cloth to squeeze the pulp over the bowl so more juice is extracted
  5. Squeeze the juice from the lemons into the bowl and stir
  6. Next pour the mixture into the shot glasses using a funnel if needed. Serve immediately or store in fridge for 5 to 7 days.

Notes

*Store in fridge for 5 to 7 days. You can also serve this as a juice if you prefer!
