INSANE homemade Cinnamon Roll Waffles with Cream Cheese Glaze. Made with all simple ingredients and truly the best homemade waffles that taste like a cinnamon bun glazed with cream cheese frosting.

Yield: 9 mini waffles or 4-5 larger waffles 1x

Ingredients

Waffles:
Cinnamon roll mixture:
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 2 tablespoons softened ghee
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Cream cheese glaze:
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons non-dairy milk
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat your waffle iron (I used this mini one!)
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the waffle ingredients until smooth
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon roll mixture then pour into waffle mixture and mix to combine
  4. Grease the waffle iron with spray (you will want to do this between each batch of waffles)
  5. Scoop 1/4 of batter into the warmed waffle maker and cook for about 3 minutes or until ready
  6. To make cream cheese glaze, warm cream cheese in microwave safe bowl for 20-30 seconds to soften
  7. Mix in milk and powdered sugar and stir so there are no clumps
  8. Plate waffles and drizzle the glaze on top and maple syrup if desired
