    I am SO excited about this Pineapple Coconut Smoothie Bowl. It makes my tastebuds scream for summertime.

    Every single tropical bite of this bowl makes me feel like I am on vacation on some lush and beautiful island in the Caribbean. That is always when I crave pineapple the most. So weird, I know.

    I love eating fresh pineapple and drinking pineapple juice (with tequila, obviously) when I am on vacation. Something about the taste is just so summery to me.

    The flavors in this bowl were inspired by my latest snack obsession, Frontier Bites. I am absolutely addicted to these bites. I have been hiding the bags in my apartment (no joke), so that no one else would eat them…I am that obsessed.

    Frontier Bites come in 3 different flavors: Almond Blueberry Lemon, Pecan Cherry Cinnamon and today’s star of the show, Macadamia Pineapple Coconut.

    The perfect bite sized shape of Frontier Bites is really what got me the first time I ate them. The amazingly unique flavors really stood out too. I was skeptical that something could actually taste like macadamia nuts, pineapple and coconut at once but Frontier Bites proved me wrong. I love how the shape of the bites really stands out to any other snack too, they are so unique.

    Also I may or may not dip them in nut butter…. just saying. You may want to get your hands on these gems ASAP.

    They compliment my tropical Pineapple Coconut Smoothie Bowl perfectly and add just the crunch I need when eating a smoothie bowl instead of a granola or nuts. Now excuse me while I face plant into this tropical bowl of crunchy heaven.

    Pineapple Coconut Smoothie Bowl

    Prep Time 5 mins
    Cook Time 5 mins
    Total Time 10 mins
    Yields 1 bowl


    • 1 cup frozen pineapple
    • 1 ripe banana, frozen
    • 2 tablespoons macadamia nuts
    • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk (or any milk)
    • 3 tablespoons shredded coconut
    • 1/3 cup Frontier Bites Macadamia Pineapple Coconut


    1. In your food processor or blender, blend together pineapple, banana, macadamia nuts and coconut milk
    2. Blend until smooth and creamy
    3. Pour into your bowl of choice and top with shredded coconut and bites
