Eating this Summer Goddess Breakfast Bowl seriously makes me giddy. I am also a firm believer that after eating it you will feel the inner summer goddess in you.
It is that kind of bowl.
Every delicious flavor you think of in the summer time is in this (well except for rose, obviously).
All winter long I really neglected my love for smoothie bowls. Maybe because the NYC winter was seriously harsh and half the time I was warming my tush on a heater. Clearly the last thing on my mind was eating a cold smoothie bowl. But the seasons have finally changed and I am ready for my smoothie bowl lovin’ self to start experimenting and creating new bowls for us to feast on.
This one is a bit different than my past smoothie bowls because it has a new kind of beverage in it, 1915 Bolthouse Farms™.
1915 is a line of organic and ultra-premium beverages. They have 8 different organic cold-pressed fruit and vegetable blends like Beet, Pineapple, Strawberry and Grapefruit AND 3 organic protein beverages! 1915 organic protein beverages come in 3 flavors: chocolate, coffee and vanilla. They are all vegan and made from pea protein and almond and soy milk, and let me tell you, they are straight up AMAZING. So sweet, so clean and so delicious. They have 12 grams of plant-based protein in them and all non-GMO and gluten-free ingredients too. You can find them at grocery retailers all over the country like Safeway, Walmart and Fairway.
For this Summer Goddess Breakfast Bowl, I used the 1915 Organic Protein Vanilla. Instead of my usually nut milk I wanted to use this for an extra post of protein and a creamier nut milk all in one. Combined with strawberries, banana, peaches and coconut, it was the best way to enjoy some of our favorite summer ingredients.
You can top it off with added granola and nuts as well for an extra crunch, TOO good babes.
