This 10-minute Brown Butter Sage Pasta is such a delicious and cozy comfort dish to make! Made with just 4 ingredients and can be made gluten-free.

Yield: Serves 3-4 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces gluten-free pasta of choice (reserve 1 cup of the water!)
  • 34 tablespoons butter
  • 1520 sage leaves
  • 1 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to instructions (don’t forget to save 1 cup of the pasta water before straining)
  2. Add butter to a large skillet and melt
  3. Add in the sage leaves and brown the butter and crisp the sage for about 8 minutes on medium/low heat
  4. Remove skillet from heat then add in cooked pasta, 1/2 cup of the water, cheese and nutmeg and mix all together (if too thick – add more pasta water)
  5. Serve while warm!

Notes

*Store leftovers in fridge for 5 days. Reheat with splash of water on stovetop or microwave
