This 15-minute Beef and Broccoli recipe is a must make. Add all of the ingredients to a skillet and dinner is served. Plus this recipe is also gluten-free, dairy-free and great for a family meal.

Ingredients

Stir fry sauce:

  • 1/4 cup coconut aminos
  • 1/2 cup beef, chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons arrowroot flour
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated or ground ginger

Beef and broccoli:

  • 1 lb flank steak, skirt steak, sirloin steak, very thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 810 ounces broccoli, I used frozen and heated it up in microwave for 3 minutes first
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients and set aside
  2. Heat 1 tablespoons oil in skillet over medium-high heat and add the beef in a single layer cooking just until browned on both sides (about 2-3 minutes or so)
  3. Next pour the sauce on top and simmer for 2-3 minutes then add in broccoli and mix it all together
  4. Serve with sesame seeds if desired over rice, noodles, or as is!

Notes

*Store leftovers in fridge for 5 days and reheat in microwave or skillet. I like to add a splash of broth too to thin out the sauce if needed
