Let’s make 2-ingredient Chia Seed Jam in just 15 minutes! This jam has no added sugar and it is perfect to spread on toast, add to oatmeal or anything you are craving!

  • Prep Time: 5 mins
  • Cook Time: 10 mins
  • Total Time: 15 mins

Yield: Makes about 2 cups jam 1x


  • 4 cups fresh or frozen berries (I use blueberries and raspberries usually)
  • 1/4 cup filtered water
  • 4 tablespoons chia seeds


  1. Add the washed blueberries to a medium saucepan and warm over medium heat
  2. Next add the water to the saucepan and stir the berries and water as they start to soften
  3. Begin mashing them to make the jam (leave some chunks of berries)
  4. Once the mixture starts to look more liquid-y, turn the heat down to low and add in the chia seeds and stir them into the jam
  5. Remove from heat and let the jam sit for a few minutes so it begins to thicken
  6. Store in the fridge for up to a week in an airtight container
