These Mashed Sweet Potatoes are a must try! Such a simple and delicious side dish to pair with almost any dish. Ready in under 20 minutes and such a cozy comfort food.

  • Cook Time: 15 mins
  • Total Time: 20 mins

Yield: Serves 6-8 1x


  • 4 lbs sweet potatoes, peeled and cut in 2 inch cubes
  • 1/3 cup milk of choice (cow’s milk, almond milk, anything)
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste


  1. Bring a large pot of slated water to a boil
  2. Add the potatoes and boil until tender (about 15 minutes – until you can stick fork in and it feels soft)
  3. Drain well and allow to sit in the strainer for a few minutes so all the water evaporates
  4. Add potatoes to large bowl and add in milk, salt and pepper and mash with potato masher or immersion/hand blender until creamy
  5. Serve warm and add cinnamon if desired


*Store leftovers in fridge for 5 days. Warm in microwave
