This Chocolate Brownie Pie is the ultimate chocolate pie recipe made with gluten-free and nut-free ingredients! Super chocolatey and filled gooey brownies and topped with whipped cream.

  • Prep Time: 5 mins
  • Cook Time: 40 mins
  • Total Time: 45 mins

Yield: 8 slices 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup coconut sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free all purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 pie crust of your choice (I used the Trader Joe’s gluten-free frozen one and thaw it out to room temp)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Line your pie tin with your pie crust
  3. Whisk together melted butter, coconut sugar, eggs and vanilla extract
  4. Add the cacao powder and gluten-free flour and mix until just combined
  5. Stir in ¾ cup of the chocolate chips
  6. Pour batter into pie crust
  7. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips over the batter
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until filling is cooked (if your pie crust is browning too fast, put aluminum foil on top)
  9. Allow the pie to cool for a bit and serve with whipped cream and cookie crumbs on top if desired

Notes

*Store leftovers in fridge for 5 days. Add whipped cream on right before eating!
