These Chocolate Peanut Butter Spiders are the ultimate Halloween candy! If you love peanut butter cups, try these peanut butter and chocolate spider treats. They’re also vegan, gluten-free and great for kids!

Instructions

  1. Add peanut butter, almond flour, syrup and vanilla to a bowl and mix
  2. Roll the peanut butter mixture into balls, about 1-2 tablespoon eace
  3. Place the peanut butter balls on a baking sheet or plate lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil
  4. Set in the freezer for 20 minutes to harden
  5. Right before the 20 minutes are up, melt the chocolate
  6. Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe dish and heat for 15-30 second intervals, stirring in between (add coconut oil if needed)
  7. Remove the peanut butter balls from the freezer and add the pretzels
  8. Break each pretzel stick in half and use the broken end to gently push into the ball on either side to create “legs”
  9. Place them back in the freezer for 5 more minutes to firm up even more before coating them in chocolate
  10. Gently dip them top down into the melted chocolate. Make sure the legs are thoroughly covered in chocolate
  11. Place them back on the sheet or plate and freeze them for at least another 20 minutes or in fridge to firm and enjoy!
