These Crispy Baked Carrot Fries are the perfect healthy side dish. Made with all gluten-free and dairy-free ingredients, great for kids and they’re oven-baked.

Yield: Serves about 4

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 large carrots (sliced in half, then in three’s)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1.5 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 2 tablespoons tapioca flour (or arrowroot flour!)
  • Optional: grated parmesan cheese on top

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. In a large bowl, combine the carrots, spices, oil and flour
  3. Next add in grated cheese if using
  4. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and add coated carrots
  5. Cook for about 15 minutes then flip carrots over to rotate
  6. Bake for another 10-12 minutes
  7. Broil for about 2-3 to crisp (optional) and enjoy!

Notes

*Store leftovers in the fridge for 5 days and reheat on skillet, in microwave or in oven!
