Ingredients

2 flax eggs (2 tablespoons ground flax + 5 tablespoons water)
1/2 cup liquid coconut oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup creamy tahini
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1.5 cups gluten-free oat flour (I used One Degree Organics Gluten-free Organic Sprouted Oats made into oat flour)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chopped dark chocolate (I used this one – code RACHL for free shipping)

Instructions

Preheat 350 degrees and grease an 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish with coconut oil
Make the flax egg in a small bowl and set aside in the fridge to form
Add the coconut oil, maple syrup, unsweetened applesauce, tahini, vanilla extract and flax egg and mix well
Mix in the oat flour and baking powder until well combined
Fold in the dark chocolate then pour into baking dish
Bake in oven for 20-25 minutes, allow them to cool and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days on the counter or freezer for a couple months
