This No-Boil Broccoli Rabe + Sausage Baked Pasta is life changing and made in one dish, no the dirty dishes and it’s one of the tastiest and healthier pasta recipes to enjoy.

Yield: Serves 4-5 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces penne pasta, uncooked (I used gf brown rice penne but any works)
  • 1 large bunch of broccoli rabe, washed
  • 4 sausage links, cooked and sliced into quarter rounds (I used sweet Italian sausage)
  • 1 cup water
  • 17 ounces chicken broth (I used bone broth)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon
  • Freshly grated parmesan cheese, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Pour pasta into 9×13 baking dish followed by broccoli rabe, sausage, water, broth, seasoning, oil and juice from the lemon and mix well
  3. Bake in oven for 40 minutes (I stir around the 20 minute mark)
  4. Serve with freshly grated parm and enjoy while warm!

Notes

*Store leftovers in fridge for 5 days
