Oven Toasted Raviolis

This warm and crispy Toasted Ravioli is made with just a few simple ingredients, served with marinara sauce and baked in the oven for a delicious appetizer or meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fresh cheese ravioli (not frozen)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2/3 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs (I used Italian ones so it’s seasoned already!)
  • Sauce for dipping: marinara sauce or pesto is a fave!

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 425 degrees F
  2. Place wire rack on a rimmed baking sheet (this helps get them crispy)
  3. In a shallow dish, whisk the egg
  4. In another shallow dish, add breadcrumbs
  5. Gently coat a ravioli in egg, allowing excess to drip off
  6. Then coat in breadcrumbs and place on wire rack and repeat for remaining ravioli
  7. Drizzle oil on top then cook in oven for 15-18 minutes or until tops are crisp and golden (depending on the ravioli you use time will vary)
  8. Serve while warm with desired sauce and some cheese if desired!

Notes

*Store leftovers in fridge for 5 days. Reheat in microwave or greased skillet
