Simply roasted maitake mushrooms – the ultimate easy and basic mushroom dish to make. These are my absolute favorite mushrooms!

  • Prep Time: 5 mins
  • Cook Time: 20 mins
  • Total Time: 25 mins

Yield: Serves 2


  • 1 package of maitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 tablespoon avocado oil
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Warm a cast iron skillet over medium heat
  3. Toss the mushrooms with oil and salt and pepper in a bowl
  4. Then add to skillet and turn off the heat
  5. Add the cast iron to your oven and cook for about 15 minutes and remove and enjoy!


*Store in the fridge for up to 5 days
