The Best Vegan Monkey Bread made with all paleo and gluten-free ingredients. A delicious and healthier version of the classic monkey bread!

Yield: 5-6 1x


  • 1 cup pitted medjool dates (softened but not hot or soaked in water!)
  • 2/3 cups non-dairy milk
  • 2 cups almond flour or almond meal*
  • 1 1/4 cup tapioca flour or arrowroot flour*
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Glaze on top: melted coconut butter


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a loaf pan with coconut oil
  2. In a food processor, blend together the dates and milk for a couple minutes then add in the remaining monkey bread ingredients
  3. Pulse/blend until well combined
  4. Using a spoon and your hands, roll out about 1-2 tablespoons of dough into a ball and place into loaf pan and layer
  5. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes then drizzle with coconut butter and enjoy!
