Copycat Sweetgreen Harvest Bowl! We have perfected the infamous Sweetgreen grain bowl and it is so easy to make at home.
Pretty sure it is safe to assume that you have either had the Sweetgreen Harvest Bowl OR you have at least heard of it. It is one of their most popular salads they make. And if you are mcjordO – it is your go-to always. He used to get this every single day when he’d order food at work and he says it is the #1 salad bowl that fills him up.
I love that this bowl has all the textures and flavors going on. We have wild rice with the kale, which is a great way to bulk the meal up a bit. And you add in some sweet potatoes and apples for a little sweetness. The goat cheese for creaminess and the nuts for a crunch (you know I love a good crunch). Then roasted chicken for protein and a generously drizzle of balsamic dressing and you are set baby!
Once you make this at home, you will 100% still want to order it from the OG source, but it will make you realize how easy it is to make it at home too. We always make bowls like this for lunch and it is also super “lunch box friendly”. So if you work in an office or go to school – this a great meal to prep and pack with you. I just recommend adding the dressing in right before eating so it doesn’t get soggy fam.
I hope you guys love this bowl as much as we do.
