This Creamy High-Protein Caesar Salad Dressing is made with just a few ingredients. It is much healthier than store-bought dressing and is ready in 5 minutes.

I am obsessed with caesar salad dressing. It is by far my absolute favorite dressing ever. I order it almost everywhere we go and it’s one of my go-to dressings to make at home.

So many store-bought dressings are filled with additives, heavily processed ingredients and inflammatory oils. But this one is so simple to make. I use olive oil, yogurt, garlic cloves, dijon mustard and it comes together in just 5 ingredients.

I love that this has a base of yogurt here too. Making it lighter and higher in protein than most Caesar salad dressings. You could use full-fat or fat-free yogurt for this, up to you! But I do prefer using plain greek yogurt. I haven’t tried a dairy-free option, but I don’t imagine it tasting too good unless it has similar taste to greek yogurt.

I cannot wait to hear what you guys think of this recipe. Let me know if you try it!

What ingredients you need to make high-protein Caesar Salad Dressing:

  • Plain greek yogurt – I use full-fat but fat-free works too
  • Garlic cloves – I like garlicky so I add more, if you don’t like too garlic you can add less
  • Lemon – fresh lemon juice is best from fresh lemon
  • Dijon mustard – I LOVE adding this for flavor
  • Freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano – I like using a fresh block of cheese for this
  • Anchovy filets – I look for wild-caught
  • Olive oil – extra virgin olive oil is best for this

How to make Caesar Salad Dressing:

  1. In a food processor or blender add the yogurt, garlic cloves, lemon mustard, grated Parmigiano Reggiano, anchovies and olive oil
  2. Turn the machine on and let it run for 15 to 20 seconds until fully combined
  3. Serve with salad or desired dishes and store in fridge for 1 week

FAQs and tips on making high-protein Caesar Salad Dressing:

  • Do I need a food processor or blender to make this? Yes, I recommend it. But if you don’t have one, just finely chop up ingredients and mix together. Also use anchovy paste if you can.
  • What kind of yogurt do you use? I like to use full-fat greek yogurt here. You can use fat-free too if you prefer.
  • Do I have to use anchovies? You don’t have to if you don’t like anchovies. You can of course leave it out if you prefer.
  • What is the best way to store this dressing? In the fridge for up to a week! It doesn’t make an excess amount so I use it all by then.
