Chocolate Peanut Butter Frozen Banana Pops

OH MY GOSHHH! Okay so these frozen banana pops weren’t even going to be a recipe on the blog. But I can’t not share these bad boys with you guys. They are too flipping good and beyond addicting to eat. And beyond easy to make!

I used to get these already made/ready to eat from the freezer aisle. And while they were so tasty and good – they were with so many additives and crummy ingredients so I eventually stopped eating them. Which was a huge buzz kill because I love them so much. And that is when I decided to start making my own!

These are the ultimate hot summertime dessert guys. They are truly delicious and covered in chocolate and peanut butter and MORE chocolate and peanuts because why the beep not?

I have a feeling you guys are going to love these as much as we do over here. I cannot wait to hear what you think!!

Some reader’s questions about the frozen banana pops:

  1. I already have some frozen banana’s in the freezer, can I use those? I suggest using fresh bananas so you can easily stick the popsicle sticks in. This is a great recipe of mine that calls for frozen bananas!
  2. Whats the best way to store the frozen banana pops? I suggest in a bag or a tupperware in the freezer.
  3. How long will the banana pops last in the freezer? They should be able to last in the freezer up to 3 months, but I would suggest eating them sooner to avoid freezer burn.

What ingredients you need to make these easy freezer banana pops:

How to make healthy frozen banana pops:

  1. Slice the bananas in half WITH peels on
  2. Stick popsicles in the end of each then peel off skin and add to a lined baking sheet
  3. Pop the bananas into the freezer for about 1 hour or until firm
  4. Dip each banana into peanut butter then add back to freezer to set for at least 30 minutes if not longer (annoying I know but you can also just mix together peanut butter and chocolate for 1 layer but if you don’t let the peanut butter harden a bit, it won’t turn out good with chocolate layer on top if you want double layers)
  5. Dip each banana into chocolate then sprinkle nuts on top and add back to freezer until ready to eat!
