These frozen banana ice cream cups are THE ultimate recipe to make. They are so cute and fun and easy to make. My kids love them, adults love them and you only need 3 ingredients to make them. I love using frozen banana, peanut butter and chocolate chips for full on peanut butter cup vibes. But of course – make the combo that sounds best to you.

I keep these bananas ice cream cups in our freezer at all times. I add them to a bowl with a spoon and my kids go wild. Literally my son asks for these every single day for dessert now.

  • Frozen bananas – I like to let mine thaw out for about 15-30 minutes before blending
  • Creamy peanut butter – you can use any nut butter you’d like but peanut is my favorite.
  • Mix-in’s: chocolate chips, coconut flakes, anything!

How to make frozen banana ice cream cups:

  1. Let the bananas thaw out on counter for 15-30 minutes then add to food processor or blender
  2. Blend so it begins to process into “ice cream” for about 30 seconds then add in peanut butter and blend so it is completely smooth
  3. Add to silicone muffin liner and fill each muffin slot then add some chocolate chips on top and set in freezer for 3-4 hours to set
  4. Enjoy frozen!
