If you love pizza (who doesn’t?), then you are going to be obsessed with this easy homemade frozen pizza recipe. Forget the store-bought stuff loaded with preservatives—this version is made with just a few simple ingredients, takes minimal effort, and can be customized however you like. Plus, they are gluten-free and packed with protein thanks to Greek yogurt in the crust!

This is the ultimate meal prep hack for busy nights, lazy weekends, or whenever the pizza cravings hit. Just pop one of these into the oven straight from the freezer, and in 10 to 15 minutes, you have a hot, crispy, cheesy pizza ready to devour.

Let’s get into it!

Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • Gluten-free flour + more for rolling out dough – A great alternative to traditional flour, making this recipe accessible for those with gluten sensitivities while keeping the crust light and crisp.
  • Plain greek yogurtAdds protein, a slight tang, and moisture to the dough, eliminating the need for yeast or additional fats.
  • Pasta sauceThe base layer of flavor for your pizza, choose a high-quality or homemade sauce for the best taste.
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese The ultimate melting cheese that gives pizzas their gooey, stretchy texture.
  • Any additional toppings like pepperoni, veggies or sausage

How to Make Homemade Frozen Pizzas:

1. Prep Your Oven and Baking Sheet

Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Lightly grease it with cooking spray or a drizzle of olive oil to prevent sticking.

2. Make Your Pizza Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour and Greek yogurt. Use your hands to mix the ingredients until a dough forms. If it feels too dry, add a little more yogurt; if too wet, sprinkle in some extra flour. The dough should be tacky but not overly sticky.

3. Knead and Shape the Dough

Lightly flour a clean surface and knead the dough a few times until smooth. Then, form it into a round ball and cut it into 6 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball, then use a rolling pin or your hands to shape it into a crust.

4. Pre-Bake the Crust

Place each crust on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle a little olive oil on top. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the bottoms are just slightly golden. This step ensures your crust stays crisp when you reheat your frozen pizzas later.

5. Add Your Toppings

Let the crusts cool completely before adding toppings (this prevents soggy pizzas). Spread a layer of pasta sauce, sprinkle on mozzarella cheese, and load up with your favorite toppings—pepperoni, sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, sausage, or anything you love!

6. Freeze the Pizzas

Place the assembled pizzas back onto the baking sheet and freeze for at least 2 hours but no longer than 4 hours. Once they are firm, transfer each pizza to a freezer-safe bag. I like to layer parchment paper between them to prevent sticking.

7. Bake and Enjoy!

When you’re ready to eat, preheat your oven to 375°F. Bake the frozen pizzas for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden and crisp. Serve hot and enjoy every cheesy bite!

Why You’ll Love These Homemade Frozen Pizzas:

  • Healthier than store-bought – No preservatives, refined sugars, or artificial ingredients.

  • Gluten-free and protein-packed – Thanks to the Greek yogurt in the crust!

  • Fully customizable – Add any toppings you love.

  • Quick and easy to make – No yeast, no waiting for dough to rise.

  • Perfect for meal prep – Make a batch and have pizza ready anytime!

Tips & Tricks:

  • Make it dairy-free: Swap the Greek yogurt for a dairy-free alternative like coconut yogurt and use vegan cheese.

  • Add extra flavor to the crust: Mix in some garlic powder, Italian seasoning, or grated parmesan for an even tastier crust.

  • Use whole wheat or regular flour: If you’re not gluten-free, feel free to swap the flour for all-purpose or whole wheat.

  • Double the batch: Trust me, you’ll want extras in the freezer!

Homemade frozen pizzas are officially a game-changer. They’re super easy, better-for-you, and taste SO much better than anything store-bought. Whether you’re meal-prepping for the week, feeding the family, or just craving a quick and delicious pizza, this recipe has you covered.
