This blueberry lemonade is so incredibly easy to make and it only requires a few ingredients to make it. Toss them all in the blender and voila you are set with a delicious and refreshing drink!
This lemonade is the perfect balance of sweet, tarty and refreshing in the warmer months especially. Plus you can use it as a cocktail too by adding in some liquid of sorts. Or it is great for kids too. My 2 year old took his favorite straw out, added it to the glass and devoured his cup.
I love making this for get togethers, BBQs or whenever. Plus you can use fresh or frozen blueberries for it too, so it is really convenient to whip up using any ingredients you have on hand.
Tip: make this fresh before serving! If making ahead of time, blend again then serve. But since it takes 5 minutes to make.
What ingredients you need to make Blueberry Lemonade:
- Fresh or frozen blueberries – either can work for this. I used fresh though for mine.
- Lemons – fresh lemon juice is best for this!
- Maple syrup or honey – or more to taste if you want sweeter. I prefer maple syrup over honey for this but personal choice
- Cold water – cold filtered water
- Ice – this makes it more slushy li

- Add ingredients to blender and blend until SMOOTH. I blend for a minute or so. Then mix it around and blend again
- Pour to desired glasses (love these plastic ones!) and enjoy cool

- Can you use another berry for this? You can use strawberries, raspberries or blackberries. Really any berry can work.
- Is this lemonade sweet? It isn’t too sweet but you can definitely sweeten it by adding in more maple syrup or honey.
- What kind of alcohol would taste good with this? According to Jordan, tequila, vodka or mezcal works well.
- How long does the watermelon lemonade stay good for? About 3 days in the fridge but I recommend having it sooner rather than later.
- Do you give this to your kids? My kids are obsessed with this recipe! It is loaded with fruits so it is sugary but they love a good fruity drink! Better to have this than a juice box too.
