Dark Chocolate Strawberry Overnight Oats for an easy and delicious plant-based breakfastIMG_8023-2

I have a confession.

Okay so it’s nothing too major, but I feel like I have been neglecting overnight oats hardcore. For those of you longtime readers (aka my Mom and J), you know overnight oats were the bread and butter of this blog. My oats are the main reason I even started blogging in the first place. I also chat about that more on Nicole Culver’s Blissful Bites podcast but I have been feeling a sense of guilt for not making them as much.

I make them often but when it comes to new recipe ideas to share with you babes, I have been been neglecting them so I would love to hear from you if you miss overnight oats? Or do you like the grain-free goodies more? Or do you like a little bit of both?Personally I love a little variety of grain-free & grain-filled recipes, but I’d love to hear what you babes think. Feel free to comment below, email me, comment on Instagram, anything you wish. Your thoughts and opinions are important to me and pretty key in my recipe decisions so the more you share with me, the better 🙂

So anyways.. I am super excited to finally be sharing a new recipe featuring overnight oats. Overnight oats are one of the most versatile and easy breakfasts to make EVER. Mix together some oatmeal, your favorite nut milk, chia seeds, some fun add-in’s and BOOM, you have breakfast. Also they stay for a few days in the fridge so you can prep them all on Sunday if you wish and enjoy them throughout the week. It doesn’t get much better than that. Make them just with oatmeal, nut milk and chia seeds on Sunday then add your toppings the morning of.

These Dark Chocolate Strawberry Overnight Oats almost taste too indulgent to even be breakfast. But we all know that we are using clean and healthy ingredients, so it is 100% acceptable for breakfast. I am also a firm believer in dark chocolate throughout the day. Just ask my family or J, I am always snacking on dark chocolate. The sweets addiction is real over here people.

Since it is summer time and the strawberries are seriously SO juicy, sweet and flavorful, I am trying to eating them anyway I can. Strawberries are my favorite berry ever and chocolate covered strawberries are one of my favorite go-to clean desserts. There is something about chocolates and the sweetness of strawberries that just goes together amazingly.

These overnight oats will take you approx. 3 minutes to prep, 3 hours of patience and 10 minutes to eat. They are probably the easiest breakfast to bring to work, school or wherever you are headed to in the morning. Also I recommend making them in a mason jar or tupperware so that you can easily eat it on the go.

Finally, if you make these oats, please do share them with me on social media. And don’t forget to tag me in the photo so I see it. A lot of times I miss them if you only tag the caption and I don’t want to miss them!
