WHERE in the world have these been my entire life!!! Holy heck you guys.
You are in for a delight when you make these meatballs stuffed with cheese. And to be honest – they sound a lot more indulgent than they actually are. At least in my opinion! We usually serve our meatballs with cheese anyways so why not take them up a few notches and stuff them with a little mozzarella cheese, you know?
These meatballs are also oven-baked so they won’t make a mess on your stovetop (you’re welcome). And they are delicious served with anything you want! Keep things light and have some zoodles or over a salad. Or you can enjoy with your go-to pasta or rice. OH or we can make a meatball parm out of them?! I am so into that idea ha!

What ingredients are in these CHEESE stuffed meatballs:
- Ground-beef
- Egg
- Onion, chopped
- Garlic, minced
- Italian seasoning
- Almond meal or flour
- Mozzarella cheese
How to make oven-baked cheesy meatballs:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients besides cheese until the meat is fully combined
- Scoop about 2 tablespoons of meat into your hand and flatten it a bit so it is in a round shape
- Add 1 square of the cheese then fold up the sides to form the meatball (add more meat if needed)
- Repeat for remaining meatballs
- Warm a cast iron skillet for a few then remove from heat and add the meatballs (it’s optional but helps brown one of the sides!)
- Place skillet into oven and cook for about 20 minutes or until meatballs are ready
- Serve with your favorite pasta, on a salad or anything you are craving!

*Store leftovers in fridge for 5 days or freezer for 2 months. You can reheat in oven, microwave or stovetop

Just made these and they are awesome! It was my first time making meatballs and easier than i thought. I used one to one GF flour since that’s what I had on hand and it worked. Thanks for another fab recipe!
