Gluten-free Strawberry Banana Bread made with all dairy-free ingredients. This is an easy and healthy banana bread recipe with extra sweetness from strawberries and a gorgeous marbled look.
Here is your loaf of the season my fam!!!!! Strawberry banana bread that is absolutely too die for.
This recipe is super simple and easy to make. And the strawberry banana marbled looked gets me every time. Plus it is super flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. It isn’t too overpowering and it always hits the spot. It is my go-to when I have a bunch of freckled bananas and I am craving something extra delicious and tasty.
I cannot wait to hear what you guys think!
What ingredients you need to make strawberry banana bread:
- Bananas – the more ripe the better! I like using ones that are super freckled and extra browned
- Extra virgin olive oil – the BEST oil to bake with. I am hooked and it adds this gold edge and subtle natural flavor that I love
- Coconut sugar – this is my go-to baking sweetener to use. I love it instead of cane sugar and brown because it is unrefined sugar
- Eggs – you can sub flax eggs here to make it vegan
- Gluten-free oat flour – you could also use spelt flour too or a whole wheat flour. Almond flour would be a bit too much here so if you use it, it will be really moist and not as cakey.
- Strawberries – I LOVE this addition. It is so summery and fun and my 3 year old thinks he is eating strawberry cake too.
How you can make strawberry banana bread at home:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a bread dish with parchment paper (i fold this up and use it to help with the bread sticking to dish!)
- Whisk together mashed banana, oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla until smooth
- Mix in the flour, baking powder and cinnamon until smooth and well combined
- Pour half the batter into a separate bowl so we can marble with the strawberry banana bread
- Blend your strawberries up until a puree is formed then mix it into the batter of one bowl
- Add the banana bread layer on the bottom then the strawberry banana bread layer on top and swirl with a toothpick to give it the marble effect
- Bake in oven for 40-45 minutes (or until you insert toothpick and it comes out clean!)
- Allow the bread to cool for a few (if you have that kind of will power ha!) and slice and enjoy!

Rachel
cane sugar yes but almond flour isn’t a 1:1 sub. you would need more!

Hi! Could frozen strawberries be thawed and blended instead of fresh?
Rachel
yes but they may be watery
Maddy
I made this with blueberries instead of strawberries and it’s so good. I’ve been having it with a little almond butter on top and it’s literally the best breakfast ever
Rachel
YAYY!!!!
