These Quick Maple Glazed Pecans are the ultimate candied nut recipe to make with no corn syrups, refined sugars and they only take about 5 minutes to make!

maple glazed pecans

For anyone who loves candied pecans, but wants a version with no refined sugars – I have you covered! These are naturally-sweetened with maple syrup and no corn syrups at all. And this is such a simple method to make them.

Not to mention that these take a total of 5 minutes to make. You add the pecans and maple syrup to a skillet and cook over medium heat for about 3-5 minutes. Then let the syrup thicken and caramelize a bit. I love adding a sprinkle of cinnamon and sea salt on top too! They turn out crunchy, sweet and they are absolutely addicting.

This recipe is also made on the stovetop, has no egg whites and happens to be gluten-free and vegan too. Just break out your jar or bag of raw pecans, maple syrup and cinnamon and sea salt and you are set. It’s almost too good to be true with how quick and easy these maple pecans are to make! But no tricks here – it really is as simple as the directions below.

Tip: add these to your favorite salads, in breakfast yogurt bowls or into your roast veggies besides snacking by the handful.

What ingredients you need to make maple glazed pecans:

  • Pecans – the main star of the show. These are so perfectly buttery and get maple glazed and are perfect
  • Maple syrup – I don’t recommend other sugars here as the maple flavor and consistency really make these!
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon and/or sea salt

How to make maple pecans in 5 minutes:

  1. Add pecans to a large skillet and add maple syrup
  2. Warm over medium-low heat and stir for 3-5 minutes until the syrup thickens a bit
  3. Take off heat, sprinkle sea salt or cinnamon on top and the pecans will caramelize as the pecans cool
  4. Store in airtight container for 2 weeks

Tips for success:

  • Want to mix things up a bit? You can also make them spicy by adding in some cayenne pepper too!
  • To prevent burning, cook these no hotter than medium-low heat. These can burn very quickly so watch them closely as they cook. Plus 5 minutes is fast! Low and slow on the heat friends.
  • You can also scale this recipe by doubling or tripling a batch. Just adjust the size of the skillet as needed!
  • I love adding these into trail mixes, salads, yogurt bowls or snacking by the handful. You can also add them to roasted veggies too to sweeten them up and add a crunch.
