This was such a spontaneous recipe after salivating all over Tiktok.

I cannot take any credit for the original version of this. I am just someone who was straight up drooling over it and had to make it ASAP and try it out for myself. And let me tell you – this hit the spot guys.

You can use any bread, yogurt or fruit you want on top. I used a fruit and nut bread from my freezer, cow’s milk yogurt and some blood oranges. We also added a sprinkle of flakey sea salt on top and it hit the spot. I also kind of wish I added some cinnamon too because that would have been amaze.

What ingredients are in the viral tiktok custard toast:

  • Slices of bread (anything works!)
  • Egg
  • Yogurt
  • Coconut sugar
  • Fresh fruit (berries, sliced oranges, anything!)

How to make the viral yogurt toast:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Gently press down the center of the bread using your hands or a fork so that it is shallow to fit the  custard
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and yogurt together then mix in the sugar to make the custard
  4. Add the custard mixture to the bread and fresh fruit on top
  5. Bake in oven for 12 minutes or until the custard isn’t jiggly
  6. Drizzle with some honey or a sprinkle of sea salt if desired and enjoy!
