FAQ’s on the Oven Baked Lamb Meatballs:
- Can you make meatballs in the oven? Yes! this is my favorite method, keeps your stove clean and reduces the smoke and smell throughout your kitchen/house.
- I don’t like lamb, will this work with other meats? Absolutely! you can use ground chicken, turkey, beef or bison. Just check the cooking times as they will vary.
- How do I get the meatballs crispy? about hallf way through on the cooking time, take the meatballs out of the oven drain any excess fat and flip the meatballs.
- How long should I cook the meatballs? It all depends on the type of meat you’re using, but want to make sure the center gets to the recommended internal temperature.
- I don’t have a cast iron skillet what else can I use? Any oven safe pan or dish should work! I always like to heat it up on the stove or in the oven first.

Hi! Looking forward to making these. The meatballs look like they have some sort of tomato sauce on them?? If so, do you mind sharing what you put on them? Thanks!
Rachel
