This Strawberry Watermelon Lemonade is a delicious hydrating refresher that’s made with just 4 ingredients. It’s easy to prepare and great as a mocktail or make it into a cocktail.
Do you want an easy summertime drink to make? One that can double as both a mocktail AND a cocktail? Well look no further than this delicious homemade watermelon strawberry lemonade refresher. It’s incredibly easy to make, super refreshing, and you only need 4 ingredients to put it together.
While a classic lemonade is the ultimate summertime/warmer weather drink, it is filled with added sugars. And in my opinion, added sugar is for cookies or ice cream or desserts. Not for a lemonade refresher like this that is already sweet enough from the fruit!
This combination of strawberries with watermelon and lemons is the ultimate delicious combo. And it tastes great as is or you can serve it with some tequila if you want to make it into a cocktail of sorts too.
This recipe is very simple. It is kid approved and it takes just 5 minutes to make. You can serve it at your next get together and you can make it when your guests are over – it is that easy to prepare! And if you are lazy like me with cutting watermelon, buy it precut. Or call my husband to come slice yours too ha!
What ingredients you need to make Strawberry Watermelon Lemonade:
- Seedless watermelon – cubed with no skin on them
- Strawberries – fresh or frozen both work and make sure stems are removed
- Lemons – fresh lemons with lots of juice to them! If your lemons aren’t juicy, you may need more
- Filtered water – cold water is best too so it doesn’t turn out warm
- Ice – crushed or cube ice both work for this
How to make Strawberry Watermelon Lemonade Refresher:
- Add ingredients to blender and blend until SMOOTH. I blend for a minute or so. Then mix it around and blend again
- Pour to desired glasses (love these plastic ones!) and enjoy cool
FAQs on making this watermelon refresher:
- Do I need to strain the watermelon after you blend it? You can absolutely blend the watermelon first then strain it if you want. I personally don’t as I use a high-speed blender and it doesn’t have chunks to it.
- Can I omit the strawberries? Absolutely! Add in more watermelon then if you can or just omit.
- What kind of alcohol would taste good with this? According to Jordan, tequila, vodka or mezcal works well.
- How long does the watermelon lemonade stay good for? About 3 days in the fridge but I recommend having it sooner rather than later.
- Do you give this to your kids? My kids are obsessed with this recipe! It is loaded with fruits so it is sugary but they love a good fruity drink! Better to have this than a juice box too.

I’ve made this twice now and love it! Super refreshing and a great way to use up watermelon if you need to. Have also added a bit of vodka which has made a great cocktail too.
