These crispy air fryer artichoke hearts are basically a deconstructed stuffed artichoke. They’re easy to make, gluten-free, grain-free and you can air fry them or bake them in the oven.
Some people’s significant others want some chocolate covered strawberries or a box of chocolates. But my husband – he just wants some crispy artichokes apparently guys.
Jord is absolutely obsessed with making and eating these artichokes. We have been making them every weekend for the last couple of months. They remind us of a stuffed artichoke but deconstructed if you will. So it is a lot less work to make, making these an easy and simple recipe to make for any occasion.
We have two ways of making these and both turn out delicious. The first is in the air fryer (which we used our oven setting for) and the next is just to bake in the oven. Either way you make them – they will turn out so good. And if you can’t do dairy and want to omit the cheese – totally feel free. I won’t tell Jord. Who probably uses 5x the amount of cheese we even list in this recipe. I may need to hand over my backup fridge as a cheese fridge for the guy.
I can’t wait to hear what you guys think of these!!

I would love to try these as an app on thanksgiving, however, my daughter has a tree nut allergy. Do you recommend an alternative to the almond flour? Thanks so much!
