I mean….. I don’t even have words to describe the insanity that is this homemade McGriddle recipe you guys.

It exceeded any expectations we had and it was super easy to whip up! But you are probably wondering why the in the world we randomly decided to make this..

So Jord and I were walking to our car and we are wondering what the beep to make for lunch. He said he wanted a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. But I was the barrier of bad news and mentioned my brother ate the last of the bread we had in the fridge (oops). And we were out of bagels too.

And that is when I said “waaaiiiiiit! let’s make pancakes and do a whole McGriddle thing”. I truly have no idea why or what came over me here. But I am so happy it did because this recipe is SO GOOD. And now it is your turn to make one..

What ingredients you need to make a homemade McDonald’s McGriddle baby:

How to make a McDonald’s McGriddle at home:

  1. Grease a skillet with a little ghee or butter and warm over medium-high heat
  2. Once pan is hot, lower to medium heat and pour eggs into pan
  3. Once the eggs start to cook, gently fold them up to make an omelette shape then fold again to a triangle
  4. Assemble the McGriddle by adding the pancake, bacon, eggs and cheese then pancake on top
  5. Serve with your favorite maple syrup and enjoy!
