Why Green Juice Shots?

Green juice shots offer concentrated nutrition without the need to consume large quantities of vegetables and fruits. The high concentration of vitamins, antioxidants, and enzymes can help support digestion, reduce inflammation, and promote overall health. Plus, they’re a great way to kickstart your day or provide a mid-afternoon pick-me-up.

  • Detoxification: Help flush toxins from your body.

  • Immune Support: Boost your immune system with vitamin-rich ingredients.

  • Hydration: Provide a hydrating mix of water-rich vegetables and fruits.

  • Natural Energy: Supply a caffeine-free energy boost.

Key Ingredients and Their Benefits:

Let’s take a closer look at the star ingredients in these green juice shots and why they’re great for your health:

  • Fresh Parsley: A detoxifying herb rich in vitamin K, vitamin C, and antioxidants. Parsley helps support kidney health and can aid in flushing out toxins.

  • Celery: A hydrating vegetable packed with vitamins A, C, and K, along with natural electrolytes to keep you energized.

  • English Cucumber: High in water content, cucumbers help with hydration and contain silica, which is great for skin health.

  • Granny Smith Apples: These tart apples add a touch of natural sweetness and are high in fiber and vitamin C.

  • Lemons: Loaded with vitamin C, lemons boost the immune system and help balance the flavors in the juice.

  • Manuka Honey: A premium honey known for its antimicrobial properties, Manuka honey adds a hint of sweetness and depth to the juice.

What ingredients you need to make these green juice shots:

  • Fresh parsley
  • Celery
  • English cucumber
  • Granny Smith apples
  • Manuka honey
  • Filtered water
  • Lemons

Instructions on how to make these shots:

  1. In a large high-speed blender, add the parsley, celery, cucumber, apples and water
  2. Blend on high speed for about 1 minute or until smooth (no more chunks). Add more water as needed if too thick and use a wooden spoon to gently break down the veggies/fruit a bit more if needed
  3. Next strain the juice. Layer a mesh strainer over a large bowl and a cheese cloth and slowly pour the juice into the cheese cloth so all the juice is in the bowl and only pulp remains in the bag
  4. Then bring up the sides of the cheese cloth to squeeze the pulp over the bowl so more juice is extracted
  5. Squeeze the juice from the lemons into the bowl and stir
  6. Next pour the mixture into the shot glasses using a funnel if needed. Serve immediately or store in fridge for 5 to 7 days.

Tips for Success:

  • Use High-Quality Ingredients: Opt for organic produce when possible to avoid pesticides and maximize nutrient content.

  • Don’t Skip the Straining: Straining ensures a smooth, pulp-free juice that’s easy to drink.

  • Adjust to Your Taste: Feel free to tweak the sweetness by adding more or less Manuka honey.

  • Batch Prep: Make a larger batch and store in individual shot-sized bottles for convenience.

Health Benefits of Green Juice Shots:

Drinking green juice shots regularly can lead to a range of health benefits, including:

  1. Improved Digestion

    • The fiber-rich ingredients promote healthy digestion and gut health.

  2. Boosted Immunity

    • With a high concentration of vitamin C, antioxidants, and phytonutrients, green juice shots strengthen your immune system.

  3. Increased Energy

    • Unlike caffeine, the natural sugars and nutrients in green juice provide a sustained energy boost without a crash.

  4. Clearer Skin

    • The hydrating and detoxifying properties help flush out toxins that can contribute to skin issues.

Other Variations of These:

If you want to mix things up, here are a few variations to try:

  • Spicy Kick: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a metabolism boost.
