These Peanut Butter Oreo Truffles are a *must* try for all peanut butter oreo lovers. I use gluten-free Jo Jo cookies from Trader Joe’s or gluten-free Oreos, cream cheese, peanut butter and chocolate chips. A foolproof dessert everyone will love.

I made these cookie truffles today and I am OBSESSED with them. Inspired by my 3-ingredient truffles. I am a big peanut butter Oreo flavor combo girlie (s/o to Parent Trap) so these are speaking my love language. They’re crunchy, creamy and have the best flavor combo ever. I love peanut butter and chocolate anything. These really take up the Oreo truffles you already know and love up a dozen levels.

I knew I had to share these ASAP for the holidays. If you love all things cookies, chocolate and truffles and Oreo-flavored anything, these are for you. And the best part? They only require 4 ingredients to make them. It is SO easy and it’s a great no-bake recipe that doesn’t require you to turn on your oven either.

Tip: use your favorite chocolate sandwich cookies here! You can use traditional Oreos or another version like these ones.

What ingredients you need to make oreo truffles:

  • Cream cheese – I had my cream cheese soften a bit on counter before using to make it easier to blend together. You can also try a vegan cream cheese too if you need
  • Creamy peanut butter – you can use crunchy if you have that instead of creamy. And if you can’t do PB then do another nut butter if you want
  • Chocolate sandwich cookies like an Oreo – Oreo makes a great gluten-free one and the Trader Joe’s one is great too. You’ll need about 18 of them!
  • Dark chocolate chips – you can also use milk chocolate if you prefer. I like dark chocolate for these since the cookie part is rich and creamy!

How to make no-bake oreo truffles:

  1. Add the cream cheese and cookies to food processor and blend until fully combined and the cookies are broken down and mixed with the cream cheese
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and begin scooping about 1 tablespoon of the cookie batter into your hand and form it into a ball and add to baking sheet
  3. Repeat for remaining batter than add truffles to the freezer to set for about 15 minutes
  4. Meanwhile melt chocolate chips over stovetop or in microwave (depending on the chocolate, you may need oil)
  5. Take a truffle and place on a fork then cover completely in melted chocolate and place back down onto baking sheet and repeat for remaining truffles
  6. Add to fridge or freezer to set for at least 1 hour then enjoy!

Best tips for success making “oreo” truffles:

  • You can use any of your go-to oreo-like cookies. I like to use some sort of gluten-free one so my husband can eat them too!
  • Use any chocolate you want to coat! Dark chocolate and milk chocolate all work well here. Milk chocolate definitely makes it creamier but dark chocolate is my go-to for these
  • These are a great dessert to prep the day before a party or event if you are making them for something special! The truffles are even tastier the next day. Once they are hardened a bit more in the fridge too and if you freeze them, they’re even better frozen!
  • If you want to get really crazy, make them with any sandwich cookie like the flavored-oreos they offer too! The mint ones are amazing for this.
