The Ultimate Tortilla Hack to Make Taco Shells! Not sure where this hack has been my entire life but it is a game changer to make taco shells IN your toaster.
TORTILLA HACK IS HERE!!
I have. no words for these guys. Talk about a HACK in the kitchen. And one that Jordan didn’t think I was going to actually pull off.
I took our tortillas (soft tortillas!) and put them into the toaster and they came out beyond perfect. Just don’t over toast and you are golden.
Don’t believe me? Check out the video on my Tiktok or on Instagram!
You can serve these for any taco night or any taco meal. They took a minute to toast up perfectly and I filled them for our lunch right after.
How to make taco shells in the toaster:
- First things first – make sure you are using a toaster (not a toaster oven!) These are the tortillas I use! I let them thaw out a bit – not from freezer!
- Next make sure the tortilla fits (you may need to gently trim. When you place the tortilla into the toaster it should be in the shape you want it to toast in. So depending on the size of your tortillas, it may need to be trimmed. And it varies based off the toaster you have
- Don’t over toast them! Just let them toast for about a minute or so. I did the medium setting on my toaster. Obviously each toaster varies so keep an eye on it if it’s your first time doing this
- Next fill them with your desired toppings. You can scramble some eggs on top, add in taco meat, anything!
