These are the ultimate white chocolate brownies! Chewy, crinkle top and fudgy center filled with rich white chocolate. Plus this recipe is gluten-free and incredibly easy to make!
If you are craving a white chocolate recipe or even if you don’t like white chocolate – you must try these brownies! I know that sounds crazy but I am personally someone who doesn’t obsess over all things white chocolate related but these white chocolate brownies hit the spot!
This isn’t your ordinary brownie recipe. There is no cocoa powder or cacao powder involved. No dark or milk chocolate chips either. We are making white chocolate brownies. And they have a crinkly top, fudgy center and they’re an easy one-bowl kind of brownie recipe to make! The center is extra ooey gooey and the edge are crispy. Which in my opinion – is the way to do brownies.
I love these brownies hot out of the oven, at room temp, cold from the freezer – basically any way possible they are a hit.
Tip: warm these up and add a dollop of ice cream on top when you eat them! White chocolate brownie sundae!
What ingredients are in these gluten-free white chocolate brownies:
- Unsalted butter – you can also sub a vegan butter if you want
- White chocolate chips – you will need some to fold into the brownie mix then some to melt too!
- Eggs – you use a mix of eggs and egg yolk for this recipe
- Vanilla extract – this is key in getting the right flavor
- Gluten-free all purpose flour – if not gluten-free you can use all purpose flour too
How to make white chocolate brownies:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a 9×9 or 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper and set aside
- Combine butter and 6 ounces white chocolate chips in microwave safe bowl
- Warm in microwave until melted in 30 second increments, stirring in between
- In a large bowl, combine coconut sugar, eggs and egg yolk for about 30 seconds with hand mixer
- Mix in vanilla extract and melted white chocolate and mix until combined
- Add in flour and baking powder and mix to combine
- Fold in white chocolate chips and add batter to baking dish
- Bake in oven for 35-45 minutes or until your stick a toothpick in center and it comes out clean
- Allow brownies to cool then slice and enjoy!
Tips for success:
- I typically use white chocolate chips in this recipe but you can also use white chocolate bars if you prefer
- If you want to add in extra mix-in’s, I love adding in macadamia nuts or walnuts in this recipe! Or if you do want something chocolatey – add in some milk chocolate or dark chocolate chips too
- When you add the melted white chocolate into the batter, let it cool for a few before!
- If not gluten-free, you can use regular all purpose flour too
- Store these in an airtight container for up to 5 days! Or freeze them for up to 2 months
- Make sure to whisk together your eggs and coconut sugar until smooth (about 30 seconds!) This is how you get a crinkle crackle brownie top

Do you think I can substitute solid coconut oil for the unsalted butter in these brownies? I usually bake with Earth Balance to avoid dairy, but it contains salt, and this recipe calls for unsalted butter.
