Fudgy Perfect Mudslide Cookies made with all gluten-free and dairy-free ingredients. These flourless cookies are the most delicious crinkle cookie that was inspired by the oh so popular mudslide cocktail (or mocktail!).
Can we all just make these cookies and pretend we are on an island somewhere together?! PLEASE! This chick needs a vacation and a delicious rich mudslide ASAP.
I always think of my mama when I hear about mudslides. She is the queen of them and loves making her own healthier version (which I can have her share with us one day). My dad loves them too and they always used to make them in the summer time and order them on vacation.
These are really a delicious fudgy chocolate cookie and they remind me of brownies and have the most perfect crinkle top in them. JUST like brownies do!! Plus these cookies are somehow flourless, gluten-free and nut-free and they have no dairy in them. So you can make them basically anyone. And I would love to see some of you drinking a mudslide as you eat these. That would be the best photo or video EVER.
I hope you guys love these as much as we do over here. I cannot wait to hear what you think!!
What ingredients you need to make mudslide cookies:
- Powdered sugar (I don’t recommend another sugar here)
- Cacao powder
- Egg whites, at room temperature
- Kahlúa (optional but gives it a real mudslide vibe)
- Vanilla extract
- Dark chocolate chips
How to make these flourless chocolate crinkle cookies:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper AND grease (these are sticky!)
- In a large bowl, mix together powdered sugar and cacao powder
- Add in the egg whites, Kahlúa and vanilla extract and mix together with a stand mixer or hand mixer if you have (it will be really thick!)
- Fold in dark chocolate chips then scoop about 1-2 tablespoons of dough onto your baking sheet (these cookies spread so leave room!)
- Bake in oven for 12-15 minutes or until ready. I like mine a little undercooked so I do 12 minutes!
