We made gluten-free Copycat Entenmann’s Chocolate Chip Cookies and WOW they are good! Easy to make and only a few ingredients are needed.
OK GUYS! Call us crazy in my house, but we were more team Gluten-free Copycat Entenmann’s Frosted Donuts but mcjordO’s family was all about the cookies. And since we totally nailed the donuts way back when – it was time to take a stab at their perfectly soft-baked chocolate chip cookies.
These are *super* easy to make and if you love a cookie soft-baked then these are for you. They’re also gluten-free and have zero refined sugars (like basically every recipe on my blog as you know). And they are flipping delightful paired with your favorite dipping milk or coffee or tea. These Entenmann’s cookies are going to be a new go-to for you. I almost got a white box to take the photos of these in to really try to fool you guys 🙂
I cannot wait to hear what you think!!
What ingredients are in these gluten-free copycat Entenmann’s cookies:
- Coconut sugar
- Eggs (I haven’t tried flax eggs but may work)
- Butter, softened
- Vanilla extract
- Gluten-free oat flour
- Baking soda
- Chocolate chips
How to make homemade Entenmann’s chocolate chips cookies:
- Cream together sugar, eggs, butter and vanilla extract until smooth
- Mix in flour and baking soda until dough is formed
- Fold in chocolate chips then add dough to fridge for 30 minutes to set
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper and/or grease well
- Add a small tablespoon of dough to the baking sheet to form cookie (I don’t roll them up – just drop the cookie dough with the scooper) and repeat for dough. Leave about 2 inches of space between each cookie as they’ll spread
- Bake in oven for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are *just* about to be golden brown. We want these as soft-baked
- Allow the cookies to cool on a cooling rack and enjoy!

Just made these cookies – subbed flax eggs and replaced the butter with 1/2 a cup of melted coconut oil. They are so good and so easy to make!!

Really delicious and easy! I would chill the dough for an hour. My first batch after 30 minutes didn’t come out as good as the later ones with dough that had chilled for longer.
Danielle
Made them tonight and they are delicious!!!
