These peanut butter brownies are the ultimate way to spice things up a bit when it comes to the original brownie recipe. Anything chocolate + peanut butter is heavenly to me and these brownies are no exception. I use all grain-free, vegan and gluten-free ingredients. Plus they are just as fudgy and dreamy as the boxed mix you love from the store. And these are fool proof! No one knows they are “healthier” brownies are they are a guaranteed crowd pleaser.
I love that these only require a few simple ingredients as you’ll see below. And I highly recommend having them a la mode with your favorite ice cream right on top. And some extra melted chocolate too – yum!

What ingredients you need to make vegan brownies with peanut butter:
- Creamy peanut butter – code RACHL for free shipping
- Maple syrup
- Coconut sugar
- Flax eggs – or regular eggs
- Vanilla extract
- Cacao powder

How to bake flourless peanut butter chocolate brownies:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper and grease well
- Cream together the peanut butter, maple syrup, coconut sugar, eggs and vanilla
- Mix in the cacao powder and baking powder until well combined (it will be thick!)
- Fold in dark chocolate gems then add batter to baking dish
- Add extra spoonfuls of peanut butter on top if you’d like and swirl around for that extra peanut butter flavor!
- Bake in oven for 22-25 minutes (or until toothpick comes out clean when you poke the brownies)

- 2 flax eggs (or 2 eggs)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup + 2 tablespoons cacao powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
