These Oreo Snowman Cookies are incredibly easy to make, so festive and a great recipe for kids to help make too! Plus they’re no bake and are made with just a few ingredients.
How adorable are these Oreo Snowman Cookies?!? I have a feeling these will be a staple in our house year after year. Especially because of how much my kids (and their friends) fell in love with them!! Plus they are so easy to make and a great recipe to have your kids help you make too.
These are a great no-bake kind of treat to make that doesn’t take much effort and you can have fun with it by using any toppings you want to decorate them (I list everything we use below!). And these make for such a cute recipe to gift to people around the holidays too. They stay good in the fridge for a week if not longer or you can add them to the freezer for a couple of months!
The ingredients I use are usually what I have on hand to make them. But you can get crafty and use what you have! I also love using the Trader Joe’s Peppermint JoJo cookies for these too as they add even more of a seasonal touch to them.
Tip: Make a large batch of these and gift them to friends and family! Such a cute idea that you can have your kids help with too
What ingredients are in these Oreo Snowman Cookies:
- Oreo or oreo-like cookie sandwiches – the JoJo’s from Trader Joe’s work really well here too!
- White chocolate chips – your go-to white chocolate works. Can really be chips or a bar
- Candy eyes
- Orange sprinkles – these are the nose
- M&M’s – these are the earmuffs
- Red circle sprinkles – these are the mouth
- Mini peanut butter cups – cut in half to use as hat
How to make Oreo Snowman:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Gently dip each oreo into the melted chocolate using a fork, covering completely then add to baking sheet
- Repeat for remaining oreos then add the toppings on top to form the snowman!
- Allow the cookies to set for about 30 minutes or more in the fridge then enjoy
Tips for success:
- These snowman cookies stay good in the fridge for about 1 week if not longer. Or you can freeze them for 2 months
- I typically store them in a large ziplock bag in the freezer or tupperware in the fridge
- I always use parchment paper to help make it easier to remove from the baking sheet (and so there is less of a clean up too!)
- You can also add these to a popsicle stick to make them “snowman pops” too. A fun twist on a cake pop using cookies instead!
- These snowman cookies are incredibly straight forward to make and it’s a great recipe for your kids to help with too
