What 4 ingredients you need to make s’mores bark:
- Full-fat coconut milk – I prefer this for creaminess but you can use another milk if you prefer
- Mini marshmallows – the mini ones work best for this. Large are too big
- Dark chocolate chips – or use milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate if you prefer!
- Gluten-free graham crackers – great way to use end of the bag ones!
How to make s’mores bark:
- Warm the milk in a microwave-safe bowl for 1-1/2 minutes
- Add in the marshmallows and chocolate chips and mix until melted and combined (it’s okay if there are some chunks)
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the chocolate mixture and spread it across
- Sprinkle the extra marshmallows on top and graham cracker crumbs
- Add to freezer or fridge to set until firm
- Break into desired pieces and enjoy!
FAQs on making s’mores bark:
- What is chocolate bark? Chocolate bark is really just melted chocolate spread across a baking sheet with something added into it or on top of it. Then once it hardens, it’s broken into pieces and snacked on.
- Can I freeze this bark? Absolutely! I actually keep mine in the freezer most often and love it. You can keep it in freezer for up to 2 months.
- Can I store this in fridge or counter? Yup x2! Fridge for about 2 weeks and 1 week for counter.
- Why do you add the milk to the chocolate and marshmallows? It is SO good consistency wise. It makes the bark creamier and rich tasting but if you prefer a more classic approach, just melt chocolate!
